Accessibility, Style, and Comfort — All In Primavera City

Thursday, April 21, 2016

When thinking about getting a new home, accessibility to necessary shops and offices is always on my top priorities. I’ve lived in a house that’s an hour away from the city center for probably all my life. It’s always stressful to get out of the house and commute for an hour just to finish requirements in school or do other errands. Sometimes the one-hour commute turns into a one hour and thirty minutes if the traffic is bad. And when that happens, all that’s running in my head is “Grabe, umaga pa lang stress at haggard na ako!” (It’s still morning but I’m already stressed and haggard!)

Nowadays, it’s important to be practical in making decisions. You have to consider the pros and cons, weigh your options, and come up with a smart decision. I know I’m pretty much a few years away from getting my own place (I still have to work my ass off and earn some moolah!) but I’ve looked at several ideal places to live in. One of them is the upcoming Primavera City by Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC).

Living In The Center

Primavera City is not only eco-friendly (as what was emphasized in my previous blog posts) and stylish. It’s location is also ideal for everyone. It is situated at the uptown area of Cagayan de Oro City, 110 meters above sea level (talk about flood-free living!), within a preserved rainforest, and in the middle of major establishments.
It is several steps away from SM City CDO, where you can shop quality clothes and groceries. It’s also near the world-class Pueblo de Oro Golf Course, Manresa Farm, regional offices of Department of Education, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Social Welfare and Development, BPOs, hotels and banks. Aside from the building’s safety features, fire and police stations are also located near it. So I’m confident that I will be safe and secure while living there.
With the goal of being a catalyst of growth and sustainable development in the country’s emerging cities, IDC carefully chose their locations. Knowing that Cagayan de Oro is ranked as 3rd in the select group of 10 in the Fastest Growing Cities in the Visayas and Mindanao area, and the 2nd on the list of 10 Most Livable Cities in Mindanao  — the city is indeed the perfect place to make Primavera City come true.

The Spaces

Phase 1 of Primavera City has 11 floors with commercial, office, and residential spaces available. It is designed to have 337 units: 57 of them commercial; 231 are studio-type units; 22 are one-bedroom units; and 27 are two-bedroom units. The building has 100 parking slots in the basement area. For commercial units, it has an average size of 50 to 60 square meters. Studio-type units has an average size of 28 sqm. One-bedroom units has 47 sqm, and two-bedroom units has 70 sqm.
Then again, it’s important to be practical and smart when it comes to making decisions. Investing on a new place that is located near to offices, malls, hotels, banks, fire and police stations is a smart choice. Also, it is several minutes away from the downtown area of the city where more offices, shops, and other establishments are located.
Ahhh...can I now fast forward to the day when I finally get my own space in this accessible, stylish, and comfy building? :)
